How are items shipped?
MGI offers free shipping with tracking on all orders within North America over $99 USD. This offer applies to regular postal service and typically require one to two weeks depending on the shipment address. If that’s not fast enough, expedited 1-day and 3-day shipping options are available at checkout with real-time rates from Canada Post and USPS.
We try to be as efficient as possible when shipping from our two locations in San Diego, CA, USA and Edmonton, AB, Canada; however, some products may only be available at a certain warehouse and will ship solely from that location.
Although MGI is proud to deliver across North America, it is the recipient’s responsibility to pay any unforeseen state taxes or customs fees incurred for a cross-border shipment. That being said, we’ve done our best to provide accurate final costs, and we are confident there will be no surprises. All our products are packaged in North America and are duty-free under NAFTA. Also, please keep in mind that sales tax is applied according to the location of landing, not the billing address.
After your order is shipped, you’ll receive an email with tracking info. You’ll also receive a one-time request for product feedback.
What can be returned?
Damaged or defective products
For products presenting signs of shipping damage or manufacturer defects, MGI guarantees customer satisfaction; however, due to the customizable nature of our products, MGI cannot accepts returns unless accompanied by a Return Material Authorization (RMA) label. To obtain an RMA label for warranty claims and product defects, simply contact MGI at firstname.lastname@example.org or use our contact form. In your message, please include any relevant information regarding the warranty claim or defect; a representative will respond with further instructions and may request proof of purchase and/or photographs of the product in question. In order to protect MGI from fraudulent claims, postage for the shipment to our address is the customer’s responsibility; once the item and its RMA label are received, MGI will then ship the repaired/replaced item back to you free of charge.
For all orders outside North America, MGI cannot accept returns under any circumstances. All sales are final and non-refundable.

MGI will never send you a previously used electrical item. That’s why we can’t accept returns of any electrical product unless accompanied by a Return Material Authorization (RMA) label indicating a warranty claim. This helps us guarantee that your electrical product is in working condition, free of damage, and never before used.
For Everything Else
For all other non-electrical items, please first contact MGI to receive a a Return Material Authorization (RMA) label and a prepaid shipping label. A refund will then be processed for the returned item(s) minus any shipping costs incurred by MGI. A restocking fee up to 20% may also apply.

Receive a return material authorization (RMA) form and, if applicable, a prepaid shipping label.
Include the RMA form with the product and ship it at your earliest convenience.
Once the product is received, your replacement or refund will be processed within 48 hours.
