How to Customize Your LED Toggle Switch Paneluse our interactive builder to customize your illuminated LED toggle panel
1Choose your toggle panel type
To get started, off-road toggle blocks are available with your choice of 4 to 7 green tip LED toggle switches.
Need an extra ignition switch? We offer a traditional 30A 4-position key switch or a modern (ON)/OFF LED pushbutton. Keep in mind that the LED pushbutton requires an additional 40A relay to control any load.
Your stainless steel faceplate will change in size and shape according to the number (and type) of switches chosen.
Now, learn about customizing each individual off-road switch.
2Choose your switches
These single-pole, ON/OFF green LED toggle switches are rated 20A at 12vDC and can be used to control incandescent lighting and fully resistive loads. All our LED toggle switches are identical so it’s on to the next section!
Choosing the correct main fuse comes next.
LED Switch Panel InstallationLED toggle panel wiring diagrams
STEP 1
Battery Power
Connect the red main feeder conductor to the car starter’s battery power terminal. Then, install the supplied main fuse and holder in the main feeder conductor between the starter and the switch panel input jumper stud.
STEP 2
Switches & Loads
Connect the positive and negative jumpers to each switch. Then, install the output wire to your loads. Make sure your load amperages are within the rated capacity of each switch. Otherwise, use one or more relays. Use branch fuses/breakers as may be required for each switch. Wiring diagram also includes instructions for pushbutton and key switch panels.
STEP 3
Connect to a relay panel
Need relays? Wiring your switch panel to an MGI relay panel is easy. Connect your outputs and loads to the appropriate relay panel terminal, and connect your positive jumpers to the relay panel’s 5A control circuit. All specific relay panel diagrams can be found on their respective product page.

First-class, quality components. I ordered 2 switch panels with stainless enclosures/boxes. Everything looks great and works perfectly. Very clean installation. Much nicer than anything I could have fabricated myself. Packages included super nice wiring & terminals.
